'INTRODUTION OF DRAGON FRUIT'

Dragon fruit was widely introduced in the year 2000.Although new the local market it is gaining popularity among fruit lovers.The dragon fruit plant is cactus-like while its fruit looks like a pink cabbabge.It has gelationous white or deep puprle flesh on the inside with lots of tiny,crunchy black seed.The fruit is not only delicious but also has medical values.The red-fleshed variety contains lycopene,which is a natural antioxidant that can lower blood pressure and help fight cancer heart disease.
